Good morning and welcome.
Today I would like to share with you two layout that I created for my Scrapmatts Design Team work as well as playing along with Show us your Stuff this month. Don't often get time to play along at Challenges but I absolutely loved the sketch and couldn't resist.
Here is what I created.
Using a picture of my husband taken last year when we did a little trip up the North coast. He loves fishing and would love to buy a property here.
I rotated the sketch and used only one photo. I have used the new Prima St Tropez range and the background has been inked and stamped using Tim Holtz distress ink along with Prima wax. My handmade item is the dyed muslin.
Here a few close ups.
My next page was created using ScrapBerry's Primavera Collection.
The picture taken of my daughter was taken when we went along and did a cup cake icing class, turning cup cakes into a bouquet of flowers. I have cut the cupcake pictures and added them into my floral spray on the rh side of my picture.
On this page I have stamped using a 49 & Market stamp as well as Carabelle Studio, these have then been coloured using Prima watercolour pencils and paints.
A few close ups.
The frame has been heat embossed with Stampendous Aged Scarlet, love how the flecks of gold just pop through the colour.
Lots of layering with fussy cutting and flowers.

ReplyDeleteWow Fi, I am impressed you have used our sketch for 2 layouts, both of which are superb. I love how you have flipped the sketch in your husbands layout, and the layering on your daughters layout is wonderful. Thanks for joining us at SUYS.
