Hello & Welcome
Its Friday here in Sunny QLD, and its still unbelievably hot!!!
I'm starting to think that Summer has smacked Autumn into another dimension, cooler weather can not come quick enough. Yes I'm one of those odd people that absolutely love it.
In the meantime whilst I'm waiting for the this cooler weather I would like to share with you an off the page piece I have created for the "Creative Artiste Mixed Media Challenge".
I'm new on this Design Team and looking forward to creating many more mixed media projects.
Last month they had a whopping 109 projects uploaded by members who obviously love mixed media. If you haven't had checked them out you will find them here.
OUR SPONSOR THIS MONTH IS
Our very own Judy who has generously arranged a wonderful prize of stamps and dies for the lucky winner. Thank you Judy.
Our theme this month is, as usual,
"Anything Mixed Media Goes"
I've created my piece using the Kaiser Craft word arrows, they come in a 3 pack so you will be seeing others at a later date.
Firstly I prepped the arrow with some gesso then did some paper transferring, I've have also used some Colour Blast texture paste, Prima mists and prills.
In the close up you can see a Heidi Swapp heart, I ran this through a brick embossing plate to give it some texture as well as a spritz of Prima Gold & Lilac mist.
The Feathers were created using a Kaiser craft die and a Cheery Lynn Bohemian Die. the detail of the embossing on these die's is so much better in real life.
Other Product use:
49 and Market - Flowers
Prima - Resin frame
Thanks for looking and for any comments that you may have time to leave, they are always lovely to read. I hope you also have time to check out the other Design Teams work.
Bye for now!!!
