FINALLY!!!

I was finally able to add the final touches to my page that I created over a week ago for my Colour challenge over at Colorful Creations.  I did make a fairly good attempt of getting it almost completed whilst I was away on the scrapbooking retreat but realised that I didn't bring any metal embellishments with me.  And since coming back home I have had my head down trying to get my DT work done.  My parents arrive this weekend so the next few weeks is about spending time with family and celebrating birthdays, we seem to have a lot in June and July.

This is my take on the colours, I printed the colours out on photo paper before I left for the weekend and then had to work with what I took with me.  My brown is photographing more like black in this, but it is what it is.

I thought the Song Bird range by Prima was perfect with the colours I put together and I have also used some oft the Meg's Garden Green Toile in the background.   My metal  is the butterfly and the little dress on the hanging sign.  Wet mediums used are, textured paste, glimmer mist and paint.  I sort of cheated with the journalling as its been added in after via digital.  I haven't had the chance to catch up with my Aunty to find out the real story behind this photo so I will add that later on.

Other Products Used - Dusty Attic Chipboard, Dimensional Pearls, Kaiser rubons, Prima Flowers, Matha Stewart punch, Echo Park stickers, Websters Alpha Stickers, Prima Gate Mask & Mistables, Cosmo Cricket paper, Twine and Glimmer mist.

Okay so this is a super rushed post, hopefully I haven't missed anything and please excuse any grammatical errors.  I'm sure there is some, some where....lol  I would also like to say a big thank you to those that have stopped by Colorful Creations and participated in this Challenge it means so much to see those that take the time to comment to come along and play along so THANK YOU!!!

Thanks also for you lovely comments you always leave as well, they are muchly appreciated.

Bye for now
