Scrapmatts Design Team Share

Good morning and welcome to my Scrapmatt's Design Team projects.

Well its been an absolute awesome storm season again here in QLD.  It seems we just get the internet back up and running and BOOM we have either lost it or its intermittent.  Then we have the dreaded call to Telstra, no one likes that, and after going through the usual stupid questions they finally agree its not working!!!!   Anyway we've all been through it so I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about.  Needless to say its been a struggle getting my blog posts up.

First up I'm sharing a layout I have created using a collection of papers I've had in my stash to do with the Beach.  As well as the lovely Scrapmatts chippies.  I even pulled out my typewriter that I picked up for $10 and did some journalling, I sometimes get a little lazy with that side of my scrapbooking.

I have tucked some gorgeous hand dyed lace under the torn paper to give it a more 3D look, as well I've cut out these tiny little paper fish and raised them up with foam tape.

The close up pics also show you the inking and glitter that I have applied to my chipboard elements.

My 2nd project is a 3D Card I have made using the new Spellbinders Dome 3D card Set.
I must say I'm loving this die and its versatile enough to use on your scrapbooking pages as a frame.

I have stamped on one of the circles that get cut out when you use this die and this was adhered to the back with some 3D foam.  The Scrapmatts chipboard used here was from the new Wildflower 02 collection that was newly released.

On this close up you can see just how intricate this die is.  I have also cut and raised the flowers and butterfly and embellished them with shave ice.

  1. What gorgeous projects! I am loving those delicate chippies and how you've painted them on your layout. And oh, the shimmer from the shaved ice really is the icing on that layered die cut cake! Love this!
