Kraft Plus Challenge - The Puzzle

Hi & Welcome to those dropping in.

Well this Challenge was down to the wire, its been an absolutely hectic month!!!  I first started this page when I was away at a scrapping camp, I borrowed someone's jigsaw punch with an idea in mind but didn't get to finish.  When I did finally get around to finishing it, I didn't have the punch, so I had to totally start from scratch and ended in a completely different direction.

Here is my Take!!!

Picture is of my son taking the challenge, of eating a mammoth burger that he purchased for dinner one night at Burrum Heads.  It was way bigger than what we expected and even defeated my sons ability to inhale food.

I used quite a bit of gesso and mists along with a Scrapmatts template for the background.
After re-thinking my puzzle piece I had to pull out my old Coluzzle templates, wow who thought these would ever get another days work.  I not only used the piece I cut out, I also cut around the negative that was left behind and glued down also.  I also cut some pieces out of some kraft resist cardstock I had, love the way the mist colours it and the pattern then shows up.

As always I love a fun challenge and I it was even more fun challenging myself not to use flowers and ribbons, mostly because my sons does not appreciate these on his pages!!!  Not manly enough he says.
